Iceland is one of the most isolated places on earth. Its low population density is due to its natural wonders. There are many volcanoes, geysers, sand, and lava fields in Iceland. Lots of travellers come to Iceland for its natural beauty. It has a population density of 3.15 people per square kilometre.

9 Suriname

Suriname is a tiny country on the north eastern cost of South America. It has a population of 540,000 with the population density of  3.26 inhabitants per square kilometre.

10 Mauritania

Mauritania is officially known as the Islamic republic of Mauritania. 90% of the total area of Mauritania is occupied by desserts. Around 4,200,000 is the population of Mauritania with a population density of 3.36 people per square kilometre.
